Russell Tobin's client, a multinational retail company, is hiring an Asset Protection Coordinator

in Mason, OH.

Job Title: AP Coordinator /Asset Protection Coordinator

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Duration: 0–10 months (Potential Temp to Hire through 12/31/2026)

Location: Mason – 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $18 - $19.00/hour

Labor Category: Clerical/Call Center

Position Overview

The AP Coordinator is responsible for monitoring access control and CCTV systems while investigating internal and external theft concerns within an assigned facility. This role also conducts facility audits, responds to critical incidents involving retail stores, and supports additional assignments and projects as directed by leadership.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate incidents of internal and external theft and fraud
• Perform facility audits for safety and insurance compliance
• Monitor and review CCTV systems
• Analyze collected data (metrics, exterior patrols, access control activity)
• Conduct training sessions, including new hire orientations
• Promote and support a shrink-elimination culture
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports
• Document investigations, recoveries, and losses
• Preserve evidence in accordance with procedures
• Partner with law enforcement and Asset Protection teams
• Testify in criminal and civil court proceedings as required
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Execute responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury
• Support AP Command Center operations
• Monitor LiveSafe dashboard activity
• Respond to medical and weather-related emergencies

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Retail Asset Prevention or Retail Loss Prevention experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to recognize and evaluate unusual behavior or circumstances
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and law enforcement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Open availability, including nights and weekends
