Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator – Jacksonville, FL
AMX is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to support our Jacksonville drayage operations.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating with customers, handling order entry, and supporting billing and scheduling functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter and manage customer orders in our TMS system
• Coordinate scheduling and appointments with customers and terminals
• Communicate with drivers and dispatch to ensure timely service
• Update customer portals with shipment status and documentation
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and resolving discrepancies
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries promptly
Requirements:
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or drayage preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with TMS systems (experience with PortPro is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
