Duties:
ServiceNow is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Events Manager Contractor to join our team and support events across our portfolio globally. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event coordination, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is crucial in creating memorable experiences that reflect our brand and engage our audience, with a focus on Executive Experience and the flexibility to manage Special Interest Activities (SIAs) or Meeting Center where necessary.
This individual will work in partnership with the Strategic Events Team and external agencies to support and execute global events.
Duties
Provide program management to ultimately deliver impactful innovation at our global events, with a primary focus on Executive Experience programming.
Collaborate with the balance of the events team to build consensus, align goals and activities, and increase overall event impact.
Overall communication and interfaces affected by the program including cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors, and vendors.
Work with the Strategic Events Team on all production requirements and needs.
Support Special Interest Activities (SIAs) or Meeting Center as business needs require.
Ability to understand and grasp the market, technology, product portfolio at a high-level in order to help support event strategy and tactics.
Skills:
In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum 8 years progressive experience in event planning and management across a wide range of event formats, including the delivery of large-scale, innovative programs, with demonstrated expertise in executive-level experiences.
Proven experience managing Executive Experience programming as a primary function, with the ability to flex into Special Interest Activities (SIAs) or Meeting Center management where necessary.
Skilled in creating pre-event planning decks and post-event summary presentations.
Must be able to work in parallel on multiple programs simultaneously, within agreed deadlines and budgets.
Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, track projects and meet urgent deadlines.
Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
A desire to thrive in rapid growth, a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change; can act with urgency.
A self-driven work ethic and model.
Willingness to travel to event locations, globally.
A collaborative, proactive, creative individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, you welcome feedback and excel in high-pressure environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
