INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Growing wholesale distribution company in Nashville seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the outside sales team. You are the operational backbone—handling quoting, orders, follow-up, and customer communication so your reps can stay in the field closing business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary inside support for assigned outside sales reps
• Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and pricing packages
• Process orders and coordinate with warehouse/logistics for fulfillment
• Handle inbound calls and emails: product questions, order updates, issue resolution
• Follow up on open quotes and pending orders to keep pipeline moving
• Maintain CRM records: account notes, opportunity status, activity logs
• Identify reorder opportunities, cross-sell potential, and at-risk accounts
• Coordinate with outside reps on account strategy and visit prep
• Communicate customer feedback, competitive intel, and market trends

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years inside sales, sales support, or B2B account coordination
• Strong phone and email skills; comfortable with high-volume interactions
• Detail-oriented—nothing falls through the cracks
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
• Can juggle multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines
• Team-oriented: you take pride in making others more effective
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base + bonus/incentive structure
• OTE $50K–$70K+
