MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) – Outpatient Contract (Adults Only)

$2600-2840/Week Gross | 40 hours/week

M-F 7a-330p | 13-Week Contract Guaranteed

Position Overview:

• The MRI Technologist provides excellent patient care by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as ordered by the referring physician
• Performs MRI exams as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity
• Operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS), with proficiency

Assignment Details:

• Earliest Start Date: April 6th, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (520 hours)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
• Setting: Outpatient imaging center
• Patient Population: Adults only (no pediatrics)

Daily Volume & Exam Types:

• 30-minute non-contrast exams
• 45-minute contrast exams
• 60-minute specialty exams
• Average 12–26 scans per day

Equipment & Systems:

• GE MRI equipment
• MedInformatics EHR
• Proficiency with RIS and PACS required
• No equipment issued

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification – required
• MRI certification – required
• BLS (CPR) certification – required
• 2+ years of high-field MRI experience required (1 year considered)
• Proficiency in IV injections and contrast administration
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards
• No Connecticut state license required!
