Job Description

One805.org is looking for a top performing Sponsorship Sales Executive to identify and manage new and existing sponsorships for One805.org You’ll be building relationships with potential sponsors, creating customized sponsorship packages, and negotiating terms and pricing. You’ll be working closely with our Executive Producer and marketing and events teams to ensure sponsorships are executed seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills, along with a deep understanding of the sponsorship industry. Responsibilities of a Sponsorship Sales Executive

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sponsorship revenue goals
  • Identify and prioritize potential sponsors based on their fit with the organization’s goals and target audience
  • Research and analyze market trends and competitor activity to ensure the organization stays ahead of the curve
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors by providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Create custom sponsorship proposals and presentations that are tailored to the sponsor’s needs and interests
  • Negotiate sponsorship contracts and ensure all terms are clearly defined and agreed upon by both parties
  • Manage sponsorship activation and fulfillment, working closely with other departments to ensure all sponsor obligations are met
  • Track sponsorship revenue and expenses, providing regular reports to management
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in sponsorship sales and marketing

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in outside sales
  • Local Santa Barbara resident
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Expert in cold calling, identifying the decision maker, setting appointments and closing the sale. 
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to pitch and close deals effectively
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Strong network and relationships with potential sponsors
  • Adept in sales pipeline management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in contract negotiation and renewal
  • Analytical mindset for identifying sponsor needs and ROI
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
