Summer 2026 Strategy and Operations Intern – YES Network (NYC)

The YES Network, America’s pre-eminent regional sports network, is seeking a motivated Strategy & Operations Intern to join our team in New York City this summer. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations of our streaming app, The Gotham Sports App, help streamline operational processes, and assist with projects that expand YES Network’s reach among Yankees and Nets fans. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in sports, media, and digital platforms to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Strategy and Operation team to ensure smooth Gotham Sports App digital operations (e.g., content delivery, user analysis, product analytics)
• Help review digital processes and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing platform performance and customer experience
• Conduct industry research to help support actionable insights and recommendations for the business and ad-sales teams
• Work with the Data & Analytics team in preparing and distributing reporting for internal stakeholders and surfacing key daily/monthly trends
• Help generate new business ideas and develop presentations for executive stakeholders
• Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively with different teams and build positive working relationships
• Self-starter with ability to tackle complex problems in an ambiguous environment
• Track record of work and/or academic experience with strategic analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• Passion for the business of sports, future of media, intersection of entertainment and technology
• No prior experience in media technology or streaming required—just curiosity and willingness to learn!
