Position Overview

We're looking for a talented and versatile Mid-Level Graphic Designer with a strong foundation in 3D animation, motion graphics, and product rendering to join our in-house marketing team in Orange County, CA.

This is a hands-on creative role for a designer equally comfortable building photorealistic product renders in Blender or Cinema 4D as executing polished motion graphics for social and digital campaigns. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to bring the Rove brand to life across every touchpoint — packaging, digital, social, video, and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Concept, design, and produce high-quality 3D assets, product renders, and animations for marketing campaigns, packaging, social media, and digital content
• Create motion graphics and animated content for social media, digital ads, video intros, and brand campaigns
• Build photorealistic product mockups and renders with precise attention to lighting, materials, and texture
• Develop and maintain 3D assets within Blender and Cinema 4D, ensuring consistency across all brand outputs
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to translate briefs into compelling visual concepts
• Execute production-level design work across digital and print including social media, packaging, and collateral
• Integrate 3D visuals seamlessly into broader campaign systems and design frameworks
• Prepare and deliver production-ready files for both print and digital use
• Manage and organize creative assets, project files, and 3D libraries
• Iterate on designs based on feedback with a positive, solutions-forward attitude

What You Bring

• 3 - 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong 3D focus
• Expert proficiency in Blender and/or Cinema 4D — this is non-negotiable
• Demonstrated experience in 3D animation, motion graphics, and product rendering
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign
• Experience with motion graphics and animated content creation
• Solid understanding of lighting, materials, textures, and rendering pipelines
• Proficiency in After Effects for motion design and animation compositing
• Strong eye for composition, typography, color, and brand consistency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator who takes feedback well and collaborates effectively
• Portfolio that demonstrates 3D work, motion, and brand-level design thinking

Bonus Points For

• Experience designing for cannabis, CPG, or lifestyle brands
• Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
• Knowledge of social media formats, specs, and platform best practices
• Understanding of print production, packaging dielines, and pre-press processes
• Exposure to web design or basic HTML/CSS
• Experience with video editing or post-production workflows
